Airpixels at Fotografiska

It finally happened ! My first exhibition is now up and running at Fotografiska and i couldn't be more proud and happy with how it all turned out. It was a treat meeting so many of you already on the first day of the exhibition and i can not describe how happy i am that i got the chance to talk and listen to so many of you. A big thank you to Mathias Sjöström for helping me produce and display my images just the way i wanted.

So, I am one of the exhibitors in this years edition of Fotografiskas exhibition The Autumn Salon that is running from 6 October — 3 December, 2017 at Fotografiska in Stockholm. If you are around or close to Stockholm i suggest you go have a look. It is definitely an amazing set up and i was truly inspired by all the photographers in the Exhibition.

The Autumn Salon at Fotografiska is the largest juried exhibition of Swedish photography. It is a tribute to Sweden’s photographers, established as well as amateurs, open to everyone who resides in Sweden. This is the fourth edition of Fotografiska’s Autumn Salon, which showcases Swedish photography as its best.

Fotografiska’s Autumn Salon has established itself as a tradition that holds up a mirror to our times. With its wealth of expressions, emotions and techniques, the exhibition captures the Zeitgeist and presents a kind of collective, subconscious reflection of contemporary currents, comprising everything from personal photographic projects developed over time, to professional photographers who use the camera as a tool in their artistic practices. This year nature takes a front seat.

Oh Faroe !

A week ago i travelled to Faroe Islands together with my little brother Simon on an assignment for #Visitfaroeislands and Atlantic Airways. Faroe Islands is an archipelago located between the Norwegian sea and the North Atlantic just in between the countries Norway and Iceland.

When we first arrived to Faroe Islands we practically couldn't see anything cause of the heavy mist that had surrounded the islands . But in my mind thats the beauty of the Faroe Islands. Weather changes so fast you cant really predict anything when you are out. It changes from Amazingly beautiful to catastrophic conditions in the blink of an eye and you just have to pay attention cause beautiful moments are all around.

The landscape on Faroe Islands is so unique in its way i can guarantee it will blow your mind away more then once. The mountain formations, the ocean and of course all of the waterfalls that will greet you behind every turn along the way together with the amazing birdlife and sheeps Faroe Islands has to offer.

One thing i like with Faroe Islands compared to Iceland is that it's not so crowded. Only 48 000 Inhabitants live on the islands which makes room and time for you as a photographer to be alone on many of the spots and really take your time to take the shots you want. We focused a lot on doing longer hikes and just enjoy the beautiful atmosphere on and around Faroe Islands.

Have you ever been to the Faroe Islands ?

Webinar & Article with Adobe

Yesterday i held my first Live Stream hosted by Adobe. People could follow me from the start to finish in my processing of images in Adobe Lightroom and ask questions as i went. This was a very cool experience for me as i could get in contact with my following on a different level then i am used to. First of all Thank you Adobe for hosting such a cool event, but also a big Thank you to all of you who showed up and made this evening very special. For those of you who missed out on the Live Stream and still are interested in watching it you can still do so. Let me know in the comments what you thought about it.

Adobe Article & Airpixels

Another proud moment in my career was this very well written article from Serena Fox in the Create Magazine. I know how hard it is to actually end up in the create magazine so believe me when i say it meant a lot. The story gives you my take on pretty much everything from how i started out, how i look at imaging and pretty much everything around me.

New Year & New Goals

2017 is here and a very good year as Airpixels has come to an end. With the new year rising new goals has been set and I am very eager to start the work. The new year couldn't have started better as I got recognition for all the hard work I did last year. I was on the top 50 Photographer of the year list on numerous sites and on the first day of 2017 i got an article at iGNANT.com.

Just as the year was about to change i managed to get one last adventure. I traveled to Swedens largest waterfalls located in Åre and as always seeing something for the first time is just magic.

Happy New Year !

An Airpixels Journey

In the beginning of 2016 i got the idea of doing something else. I wanted to see places i never seen before and i wanted to see them from a perspective i never seen before. I got to see way more then i expected and i am looking back on 2016 as one of the best experiences in my life.

To all of you who have followed my journey during the year i just wanna reach out and tell you how much i love you and your support mean the world to me.

With that said, I couldn't be more excited for 2017 when the drone finally will be upgraded and my travels will go deeper.

Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year
